What is a Corridor? built stone pavilion

What is a Corridor? is a built installation developed during an exchange at the Universidade do Porto, exploring directionality and movement in architecture.

The project culminated in the design and construction of a freestanding stone pavilion, developed in collaboration with local manufacturers and engineers. Drawing on phenomenological principles, the structure uses material roughness and spatial compression to frame movement through the site—shifting from narrow, almost claustrophobic passages to open, accessible thresholds.
